Call me a cynic, but the club are playing an absolute blinder on this one.

Somebody has been telling porkies, and I suspect this entire thread is a little convenient.

The fact the club have been forced to resort to an appeal from the players should tell you a lot, as are the initial plans to keep top tiers closed for now.

I have been told by someone who 'does know' the current state of play, the intention was to keep the lower levels packed - similar to what they did v Forest couple years back.

We then have well-intentioned posters concentrated in one thread, 'I'm going', 'I'm going, too', 'I'm going with three mates'.

Well that's about 400 people so far...

It adds to the fear the club wants, that people could 'miss out'.

Two tiers of 12,000 closed, away fans of 2,700, some late panic buying - result - still around the 30-35k mark.

As for seat checkers, forget it, I am informed the same principle applies, we keep thousands off the scope, so to perpetuate a demand.

Looks like it worked to be fair

Tis but a scratch.

Dots are more absorbing. I feel a twitch.

They close level 3

Level 3 season ticket holders have to move to Level 2 @ £25

Open Level 3 and sell @ £17.50

Hope they reimburse us our £22.50

Typical City or was it a marketng ploy to sell the expensive tickets first.

More exclusive/Less on sale = more demand

Joke from start to finish - thought we were more professional as a club obviously no regard for the regular support.

Just bought 2 in 305 on my customer number for a couple of mates. Considering they're paper tickets and given the match is only on sunday will I have to pick them up or will they post them?

Back again. The first of many. Watch the s*** hit the fan tomorrow and for the rest of the week. Where's safer, Libya or MCFC's ticket office?

No loyalty points for L3 tickets apparently
Are they extras on one customer number? Just that points haven't shown up on the level 3 tickets I bought either. First thought is that the points would only be awarded for the ticket I bought first (ie my own seat)

Get in!

Ticket office strike back in the name of loyalty. This added to the pricing issue, will cause a massive stink.

No seriously, this is bloody hilarious. I can't believe that high paid execs at City have spent hours coming up with these cunning plans. Typical bloody City. Lol!

JRB

£7.50 difference is 12.5% of my weekly income from HM government

I pay for my tickets out of redundancy and go without essentials to watch our beloved team.

Pissed off I have to move and pay extra because seasoncard holders who do not normally go to cup games now decided to go because Wembley is on the horizon.

Would have no problem if I had not been told I had to move and pay extra.

Or should we stay at home and watch on tv and become satellite rags.

So if I renew my L3 s/card will I get 1,000 points deducted? Sounds like the lunatics have taken over the asylum.

I'm moving to level 3 next season. Apparently the ticket office are going to double my current loyalty points. I'll have 11,000 next season.

Good night.
