Hi all,

As we are working on improving the website, there will be the inevitable bugs that occur from fixing other things (yes, that really does happen). To make the process a little more professional and organised, we ask that you use this standard form below when submitting a bug report:

The title of your thread should include the word BUG!!
For example: "BUG: I keep getting logged out!"

Username (if not yourself):
Date/Time of Occurrence:
Internet Browser:
Operating System:
Type of Error:
Problem (please be as descriptive as possible):

Have you tried a different browser?
Have you tried logging out then in?
Have you tried clearing your cookies/cache?
Have you tried rebooting your machine?

Hopefully, we can get to bottom of some problems that we are unable to replicate at this end.

A tutorial for you to peruse:

Username (if not yourself):
This is the username of the person who is having the problem

Date/Time of Occurrence:
No need to be exact here. Today, about 4ish will do nicely

Internet Browser:
The program you use to view this site. Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome, for example. Please include version numbers if possible, like IE6.

Operating System:
The current operating system. Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 98, for example.

Type of Error:
Is it a MySQL error, a PHP error, or a general forum error?
MySQL error will give you a white page with the writing MYSQL ERR CODE 1393 : Error Message, or something approaching this.
PHP Error will say something approaching "function some_function_name() not found in somefile.php"
A general forum error is anything else, or if you are unsure of the type.

Problem (please be as descriptive as possible):
The more information you give, the better. Is this repeatable on your machine? Are you at work? Does it have a firewall that censors stuff? How often do you get the error?

Have you tried a different browser?
Have you tried logging out then in?
Have you tried clearing your cookies/cache?
Have you tried rebooting your machine?

The above are generic questions that will solve most issues.
