Why does a closed roof help Real and hinder whoever they are playing?Well, what a surprise! UEFA give the OK for Real Madrid to close the roof. UEFA have now set a favourable precedence for Real Madrid. In important future home games Real Madrid won’t have to ask UEFA if they can close the roof. And to think, Real Madrid still want to form a Super League. Ceferin and UEFA are cunts. They want nothing more than Real Madrid to get to the CL final in London, probably against PSG. I hope Pep and the players use the closed roof for a better atmosphere to spur them on tonight.
What Haaland should have is space to run into (if we can make the right passes). He has the pace to exploit that space and Real will be wary. KDB just doesn't have that kind of pace and it would allow them to really press hard onto us and we wouldn't have an out ball.I would have started KDB as false 9 instead of Haaland though. Constantly interchanging with Foden, because Haaland doesn't press as hard, and without service (which he won't have today) he is gonna mostly a passenger. Cmon big Erl, prove me wrong, and press like a mad man today.
