This notion that he doesn't track back is BS. Forget about Mahrez, Pep simply wouldn't put up with it. I prefer Mahrez tonight, but trust Bernardo, but let's not act like Mahrez hasn't stepped up in big games, especially Champions League game.

Of course he's stepped up (at times). His problem is that he is very inconsistent. Can be fantastic one game and anonymous the next. He is also much weaker defensively than Bernardo.

Personally I'd much rather have Bernardo from the start and keep the game tight. Foden and Mahrez are then available later for when the game opens up.

Why is any City fan watching any pre match coverage on that **** of a channel?? Just turn on for the match with the sound off.. Bin it at half time then back on for kick off second half.
