REALISM- final postion in league

Now that i have calmed down from last night and the hangover is well and truly in place , where does everyone realistically think we will finnish in the league.
My heart screams we can still win it, however my head is saying most likely 3rd possibly 2nd, just want to avoid the nightmare of finnishing 4th, and somehow the Scum win the EUROPA and Chelsea win Champs league and we then miss out.
Sorry if a thread like this already exists, i couldnt see one when i looked.
 
Win on wed and we'll win it.

Leicester have lost Kante to injury for a few games which is bigger than most think. They'll collapse in the weeks ahead.

Arsenal and spurs will run themselves into the ground next week. Spurs still have Europe on Thursdays.

We've been here before. If we win games in hand over the next few weeks,we'll do it. Wed is crucial.

I agree, if we beat Liverpool, it will show that we are back to our best, lose and I will be happy to get 3rd.
 
I would like to finish in the top 2 for the 5th time straight, and in the CL expectations depend entirely on the draw. Get Barca in the last 8 and going out is acceptable, get Wolfsburg and we should be in the semi's.

The Liverpool game is really fascinating IMO. How will they react? Will Pellegrini change the team? Will Sterling go all out to make up for his misses? I can't wait, although I suspect they'll win.
 
Third has to be the target for reasons of organising the summer and, hopefully, keeping Arsenal in their place in fourth. Anything else seems like a bonus at this stage, particularly with a trophy in the cabinet and and CL QF within touching distance.
 
Wednesday is huge. If we win there, my confidence will be high. Arsenal are once again dropping points. And as mentioned above, Spurs have Europe League.
As many predicted, we look a different side with Kompany in the team. We were much the better team yesterday.

Wednesday will be a strange one - wonder how much the players have left. Imagine Navas will start - interesting to see what he does up front.

Let's see what happens on Wednesday.....
 
10 wins and a draw will win win us the league if any team can it's us but I fear champs lge will ruin our chances and we'll finish 2nd to spurs!

Arsenal are on their way to inevitable collapse. 3 points behind Spurs now, they'll lose the derby next weekend so that will become 6 points then get knocked out by Barcelona midweek and go into freefall, pulling out when they are mathematically out of the title race just in time to salvage 4th ahead of West Ham.
 
We definitely need something from Liverpool.
We have 12 matches left.The 4 hardest matches appear to be Liverpool , Rags , Arsenal(at home) and Chelsea away.
What we have to understand is that Pellers has said the Champs. League is a priority - and if we beat Kiev (which we should) we will have 2 more games to play in the quarter finals.
Leic. and Spurs have 11 games to play with no more FA Cup games but I see Spurs are still in the Europa. I think Leicester must be favs . at the moment.
Some of you will think the Rags at home should be easy - but they will be very happy with a 0-0 draw.
I would like to see more game time for Ihenacho.

I think we will finish 2nd.
