It all depends on injuries and squad rotation for me. One positive is Sagna and Kolarov would have been most City fans second choice full backs this season and yet they've both been very good and are proving how strong our squad is.
We've had Clichy, Kompany, Kolarov, Zabaleta, Fernando, Yaya, Silva, Aguero, Nasri, Delph, Bony and Nacho injured/carrying knocks this campaign already. Yet we're top of the league and in a strong position to qualify for the CL knockouts.
On the pitch, Mangala has also improved and Otamendi is looking settled now. We've seen Kompany return to form and Demichelis will always be able to do a job. Fernando looks more like the player we thought we'd signed. He's concentrating for 90 minutes and covering ground well. Our attacking options are doing well, Bony yet to show his full worth but Nacho looks like he'll score if presented with an opportunity. We've shown a good balance between attacking and defensive performances and yesterday was the first time in a long while we've looked so solid defensively against what you have to regrettably call title rivals away from home.
Most sides couldn't cope as we have with so many injuries. If Delph find fitness we could be even better as his energy will be hugely important in midfield this season. We've a tough run in but in terms of what we can achieve then anything and everything really.
With more luck on the injury front I'd hope to win one of the domestic cups, get to the CL quarters/semis and win the league. It would be nice to win three trophies but we'll need all of our players fit to do so. We suffered in Jan/Feb the past couple of seasons with injuries and a loss of form. This season we'll need to be at our best as our run in is the hardest of our rivals. We'll need a 10pt gap if we want to have some breathing room going into the final fixtures.
