Hey Blues, just sat at work waiting for the weekend to arrive again and was thinking to myself what would be the best realistic outcome this season? I came to the conclusion of, League title, a cup final and to get to the Quarter finals of the champions league.

Is that the best we could hope for? Or can we do better? Or might we even do worse if our injuies keep as they are?

Injuries are an issue! We are missing Spanish Dave and Segrio immensely I think a lot could depend on there and Kompany's fitness for the rest of the season! Got a funny feeling Arsenal may nip in a steal the title this year

I'd be happy with that..........as long as we win the fore mentioned Cup Final that is

I still expect Arsenal to have their annual 'rough patch', if they dont this year then they could win it... damn.

We will win the league well before the last game. The scum will be double figure points behind us come end of the season with Arsenal a good 8/9.

At the moment Arse are the best team in the league on form but like the dippers they will hit a sticky patch, normally when it's cold and wet.

I'd still fancy as the OP a cup win, Prem title and CL last eight.

The FA Cup may end up being sacrificed due to fixtures building up and our possible trip to the sun.

That's my feeling too - but an injury to Sanchez and the ever fragile Walcott and they could fade as usual.

It all depends on injuries and squad rotation for me. One positive is Sagna and Kolarov would have been most City fans second choice full backs this season and yet they've both been very good and are proving how strong our squad is.

We've had Clichy, Kompany, Kolarov, Zabaleta, Fernando, Yaya, Silva, Aguero, Nasri, Delph, Bony and Nacho injured/carrying knocks this campaign already. Yet we're top of the league and in a strong position to qualify for the CL knockouts.

On the pitch, Mangala has also improved and Otamendi is looking settled now. We've seen Kompany return to form and Demichelis will always be able to do a job. Fernando looks more like the player we thought we'd signed. He's concentrating for 90 minutes and covering ground well. Our attacking options are doing well, Bony yet to show his full worth but Nacho looks like he'll score if presented with an opportunity. We've shown a good balance between attacking and defensive performances and yesterday was the first time in a long while we've looked so solid defensively against what you have to regrettably call title rivals away from home.

Most sides couldn't cope as we have with so many injuries. If Delph find fitness we could be even better as his energy will be hugely important in midfield this season. We've a tough run in but in terms of what we can achieve then anything and everything really.

With more luck on the injury front I'd hope to win one of the domestic cups, get to the CL quarters/semis and win the league. It would be nice to win three trophies but we'll need all of our players fit to do so. We suffered in Jan/Feb the past couple of seasons with injuries and a loss of form. This season we'll need to be at our best as our run in is the hardest of our rivals. We'll need a 10pt gap if we want to have some breathing room going into the final fixtures.

For me, much will depend on the period between December 12th and January 12th. We have six league games in that time, including a trip to Arsenal, and it's the period that will probably determine whether our season runs out of steam or goes from strength to strength.

When we won the league under Pellegrini, over the same weeks we won all six of the league matches, drew with Blackburn in the FA Cup, and obliterated West Ham in the League Cup. If we can still be in the CL and League Cup going into that congested period, then fresh legs (Delph/Clichy/Fernando/Zabaleta) should mean a League/Cup double is attainable, but it's all about maintaining momentum. That is the intrinsic strength but also weakness of Pellegrini's philosophy.

I predict the title, the league cup, a cock up in the FA cup and a quarter final in the champions league.

Best realistic outcome? For starters, I'd definitely say it's realistic that we win the league this season. The rest of it is draw/injury dependent, we could do the domestic treble if we draw the weakest team in every competition at home and have a full squad to choose from every week.

My actual prediction for the season would be to win the league and maybe one of the cup competitions.

The league is our best bet but I don't think it will be the walk in the park everyone was predicting after 5 games. We have shown that we are still vulnerable to lapses in concentration and yesterday struggled to created anything against a heavily packed midfield and defence. If Aguero comes back and stays fit and silva does too then I think we have a great chance. If Aguero is out for any length of time then I don't think we will because Bony is not good enough to carry us for a season.

League cup depends on the sides we put out and the draw. I'm never confident with Caballero in goal. However a final in one of them is realistic.

CL- No chance. Not good enough yet for that. QF at best.
