I know they are only friendlies, but i can't wait!

2 games in 2 days, both on the TV so there's no need for a shit online stream, and neither of them are at daft o'clock in the morning!

It will be two completely different teams in each game (hence why we are taking 28 players), so we should get a good long look at Suarez, Razak, Roman etc. Then there's the slim chance that Aguero might go on the trip!

I wonder if we'll play the best 11 v Inter and play the squad players and kids v the Irish X1? Or perhaps a mix of the two in both games?

I'm desperate for a Dzeko goal this weekend. He needs one.

Me too. Especially as the wife is off on Saturday at some Mothers Meeting.

And even more so when I thought of this potentially against Inter (though more likely he will mix and match experience and youth in each half):

Hart
Richards, VK, Lescott, Clichy
Nige, Yaya
Silva
Kun, Dzeko, Mario

Whooaa yeah! And that doesn't even include Milner, AJ, Savic, Sweep, Zabs... Bring it on!!

With Inter being where Mancini last worked coupled with they are the first european elite club we have encountered lately I can see a very strong team being fielded to give us an indication of how we might stack up when it comes to the champions league (as a friendly only a total disaster or massive victory would likely be telling of how we might fair IMO).

Is the match tommorrow on TV?

I could only see Sundays match when I checked the listings?

Sky Sports are showing tomorrows match and have been advertising it all week.

actually our saturday game is "on the red button"

the Sunday game v Inter is on SS2

It was a choice between going to the Charity/Community Sheild or going to Dublin and I chose the Charity shield. I feel like I let down the club. :-(

Just hope there's a decent turnout. Not many blues in this land.

I am excited as well, not just because we get to see both City matches but also because the tickets include two other matches as well:

Saturday 30th July Gates open 12.30

Manchester City v Airtricity League X1 @ 2.00 pm

Inter Milan v Celtic @ 4.30 pm

Sunday 31st July Gates open

Celtic v Airtricity League X1 @ 2.00 pm

Inter Milan v Manchester City @ 4.30 pm

So for the entrance fees paid you get 4 tickets basically which works out at around £25 a match.

Good value IMHO
