Recording audio from iphone 5

Struggling here, i have audio clips i have recorded using tunein radio on my iphone 5, the app doesnt allow you to export/share saved clips.
Decided to try and record to my laptop using Audacity, using a 1 metre jack lead, tried various volume settings on my phone but just getting intermitent "norman collier" style recordings. Can anyone help ?

And go to apps part on the left and tunein app folder it will be in one of those folders
