Red Cafe in meltdown

The United/Liverpool “rivalry” is no more intense than that of any other two clubs, not from the same city. Scunthorpe v Doncaster Rovers for example.

Yes, United hated Liverpool in the 80’s, but EVERYONE hated Liverpool in the 80’s because they were the most successful team. Like United in the 90’s and early 2000’s, and City for the last 15 years. Twas ever thus.

The whole idea of a “intense, unrivalled, rivalry for the ages” was concocted by both clubs, in cahoots with the media (Sky in particular) during the 90’s as the televising and wall-to-wall media coverage of football exploded. They needed a rivalry to sell tee-shirts and tv subscriptions to gullible idiots.

If the dominant team in the early 90’s had been Bristol Rovers, we would today be discussing the “intense, unrivalled, rivalry between Liverpool and Bristol rovers.

A made up rivalry, concocted by businessmen to con gullible fools.

I’ve never, ever, fallen for it.
And the pisscan, with his "Littlewoods have always been our biggest rivals" bullshit.

Should have bookmarked all the posts saying they’re ’done with football’ if the 115 comes back negative. Then bombard the fuckers to make sure they’ve followed up on their promises or whether they’ve proved they’re all full of bullshit.
Most of those were Amorim and the players.

It is very simple: Manchester United and Liverpool fans cannot accept that another team is more successful than they are, so the cheating claims are what they hang on to.

We have shattered everything else, from the owners getting bored, to Pep wouldn't come, to him not being able to do it in the PL, to him not being able to win the CL, to he'll never match our treble. All they are left with is Emptihad and cheating, and the more they bleat, the more it exposes them to being entitled morons who wanted the top-table to themselves for ever and a day.

If we are exonerated from the charges, and become successful at their expense once more, they will be utterly distraught and crying history into their beer.
Probably start following us and become the best citeh fans ever. Bunch of cunts.

Absolutely this .... the meltdown will be biblical.

The only songs they sing are the silly nursery rhyme and nited ad Infinitum.. Pathetic really ..
I was once in the Quadrant before a swamp Derby when two coach loads of Rags from Cork and Yeovil started singing: “Why don’t City fuck off home.” It was pointed out by the small band of Blues that Manchester was our home. It was the 6-1 and after the game we jeered them onto their coaches with: “Fuck off back to Yeovil.”

They just go lucky that no other top clubs was interested in Cunha/Mbeumo, and lets be honest despite Newcastle being in a better position, Man UTD are still far bigger club. Both Cunha and Mbeumo are excellent signings for them

I'm not so sure, both played for sides where possession was at a premium, Amorim is attempting for them to have more of the ball from the outset.

Are they an improvement on Rashford & Garnacho .... that's debatable?

Cunha has the potential to be a good signing or could turn into another nightmare. We've seen his temperament issues at Wolves- just imagine what's going to happen on a bigger stage, and especially if they don't start winning early in the season. We could see a mega meltdown.
Bring it on :-)

There is a decent player hidden somewhere deep in Garnacho. I'm just not sure that player is as decent as Garnacho thinks he is.

Pressure on him to do well, centre back will target his temperamental fragility.

He said that to get under Wenger's skin. Arsenal were challenging them for titles but he wouldn't admit they were their biggest rivals. Which shows what a petty twat he was
Always takes me back to when the Pisscan was interviewed at the end of a season, the interviewer asked him who he thinks will be their rivals next season and the Govan **** said 'Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea.' So the chap doing the interview said 'And Manchester City?, and **** replied 'I didn't say that.'

If those two are sold then the buys will be an improvement according to the media. That's the same media that said Darwin Nunez is as good as Haaland.

Bwahahahaha! He's arguably the biggest wet wipe **** on that forum which is some feat as he has some stiff competition!

Yet another prick who's assuming we're guilty without waiting for the actual outcome. As for "serious discussions about relegations or stripped titles" what serious discussions were those SER19? Oh, that's right - the discussions from clueless clickbait journalists playing to the gallery, and vitriolic attacks on our club from mouth-breathing dickheads like you on internet forums!
Yeh, but it must true init. I no coz I do my research in t’internet so must be true.

When you say both Cunha & Mbeumo are excellent signings for them, what do you mean?

Is it that the rags can still attract players? Although they've paid well over the odds for Mbeumo.

Is it that those two players will make a difference to the team and improve their situation?
Although they've had plenty of good quality players through the doors since the pisscan did one.

They've had far better managers through the doors too but to no avail.

At what point do we call time on that shit show of a football club.

I've been hearing it for years now from rag fans: "This is it, this season will be different"

How? Why? It's become a bad habit. It's like the smoker who is trying to quit for the umpteenth time saying: "This time it will be different" and a month later he's back in the tobacconist shop.

The rags once dominated the premier league like Debenham's dominated the high street.

The only difference is we've accepted Debenham's are finished on the high street.

I think it's safe to say we've seen the end of the rags reign in this country. It's high time their fanbase and the British media did too.

When reading that, an image of him wincing and waving his players off the pitch at Sunderland springs to mind.

The pain in his face was a joy to behold :)
