Red flag around Sergio ?

When he was coming back onto the pitch to get his medal he was draped in a red flag which baffled me,anyone any idea what it meant ?

Yes, Independiente his boyhood club and where he has said he would like to retire at the end of his career,hopefully after serving us for years to come.

i'm very glad you asked that because i was wondering the same thing. i thought it might be independiente. that's a solid move, i respect that.
