I know he's not popular with City fans because of the added time in the 4-3 defeat, but I think he's a decent choice for us. He's joint top with Michael Oliver for red cards and 2nd behind Oliver for yellow cards.

He's comfortably the best ref in the country imo. Happy enough with that appointment.

No. Completely and utterly unprecedented. He cheated us that day, no other word for it. He’s not been a bad ref since Fergie retired but back then, he was Fergie’s bunny. Wonder if he shared a wine with him after the game?

Extra added time happens all the time, like our games vs Bournemouth and Southampton this season both times it lead to us scoring late winners.
It was an incredibly shit way to lose a game, but Atkinson adding on 2 minutes for a goal, some subs, fouls and a guy on the pitch was completely reasonable and if you can't come to terms with that nearly 10 years on, it says more about you than Atkinson.
