Here is proof!
This is a viscous attack by Aguero and he was lucky to only see yellow

Young, in his attempt to win the ball, has gone over the top of the ball and is completely out of control, also endangering the player. Aguero was fortunate not to be injured by such a reckless tackle.

Clear & obvious penalty. Not really surprised after some of the dubious decisions that linesman made first half.

We should highlight this at every opportunity, without a shadow of a doubt the players will have noticed this too, it would be folly to think it wasn't on the players minds more and more as the game progressed, they will know he was looking to give them an advantage at every opportunity, and he did.

As the second half got under way it became more and more predictable what was going to be sanctioned and what wasn't. What are defenders to do when, firmly fixed in their mind is the notion that no matter what tackle is made, fair or foul, the Whistling Wanker will give a free kick? And were you to complain and point out that you won the ball cleanly the wretched bastard will reach for his pocket and pull out at least a yellow card! I saw Taylor's performances at the Etihad v CFC and the Wigan cup game, but whilst I was expecting a yellow card for Delph, I would have had no doubt whatsoever had Danilo or Delph executed the Ash the Crash tackle on Sergio it would have been a straight red and a penalty. He wasn't just bad, poor or incompetent, he was downright dishonest. Wait till his next game and watch for the softest pen award of the season!

What he did most effectively was close the game out for them, broke play up and kept stopping the game with lots of soft free kicks. Would like to know how much the ball was actually in-play for the final 15 mins.

What that picture doesn't show is that Aquero was pulling the ball back inside at the time of the tackle because he saw it coming.

If he had just let it roll he would have been taken out with the ball nowhere near.

The referee was appalling and is obviously not fit to officiate at this level, but nothing will happen.

I watched the replay very carefully, just to see the refereeing performance. It started badly with some unbelievable decisions given/not given 100% in Rags favour eg the Young block on Raz which would have been more at home in a wrestling match. There was also the non award of the penalty which Atkinson was not in a great position to see due to his inability to keep up with play. His Lino was in a good position to see it though. Then we scored and until half time, there was little to complain about. Increasingly, as the Rags fought back, and especially once they were in the lead, the full repertoire of bias kicked in. I counted 6 soft free kicks given in the last 20 minutes or so to them and 0 to us. The majority either just outside their box to disrupt our attacking momentum or in positions where they could attack us. The foul on Kun was as blatant a penalty as you could get and yet Atkinson ran into a position where he had 5 or 6 players between him and the incident. That was handy. The linesman saw it full on but did not appear to be asked. So depending on how your mind works, the game was bent or the referee and his team were incompetent. Interesting to see if there is any review of his performance today. Yeah right.

I reckon about 2 of the 5 mins added time was actual football, the rest being him talking to raggies about god knows what.

People early on in the thread were ok with Atkinson, as generally he's reffed us recently in a fairly even way (compared to most) but Saturday, that was his remit Dave, united allowed to hustle, tussle and manhandle with no sanction, as soon as we did it, BEEEEEEP, he seemed especially keen when it gave united a chance to put the ball in the box unchallenged, as Keith Hackett suggests, there was clear favourtism throughout mate, and it's obvious as to why it was during this particular match.
