I don’t agree. Compared to his performances before and the average performances by other PL refs, Oliver had a decent game. He certainly made no more mistakes than any of the players on the pitch.
And yes, there were some strong challenges. So what. Let the play flow where it’s possible. Players sometimes need to toughen up a bit. I’m happy no City player is a crybaby or falls over with the tiniest of touches.
I honestly thought Oliver was ok yesterday. Maybe it’s because we didn’t play a team in red.
I judge them on their interpretations for both teams & can accept mistakes when there doesn’t feel the pattern so for me he was fair.
