Ref Watch City Games - 2023/24

I don’t agree. Compared to his performances before and the average performances by other PL refs, Oliver had a decent game. He certainly made no more mistakes than any of the players on the pitch.
And yes, there were some strong challenges. So what. Let the play flow where it’s possible. Players sometimes need to toughen up a bit. I’m happy no City player is a crybaby or falls over with the tiniest of touches.

I honestly thought Oliver was ok yesterday. Maybe it’s because we didn’t play a team in red.

I judge them on their interpretations for both teams & can accept mistakes when there doesn’t feel the pattern so for me he was fair.

Not often we get the dodgy calls landing in our favour so it was a pleasant change. Scored from a free kick given for a slip and Gvardiol’s challenge was a definite penalty. Hardly crucial but I’m sure there’ll be a lot of chatter

Howard Webb as obviously shit his pants with the Forest accusations.
Told his refs to ref fairly since.
Last night, no favouring the dippers.
Tonight, soft penalty claims that if given would of made a mockery out of Forest not getting any at Everton.

Word of advice Howard, don't get yourself in such a tight hole by favouring teams over others.
All games need to be reffed fairly then we can all trust in football again.
