I have just booked my referee course and was just wondering if anybody can tell me what is it like?
cheerss

yeh i did a course last year, it took 8 weeks overall and you do it once a week for 2 hours, well thats what i did anyway.

There's loads of really little things you need to remember for your example, size of ball, air pressure, shape.

The hardest thing for me was the reasons for direct and indirect free kicks

The test is well easy and they help you quite a lot. As for refereeing i havent started yet so i wouldn't know but the course is well worth doing.

i did the refereeing course about a year ago i was only 15 and i cruised it. although like the above post indirect n direct free kicks are very hard. The were VERY helpful with me and if you have a basic general knowledge of footballs rules you should piss it with a little look in the handbook the night before the exam :)

I was thinking of the same but its in november and I would miss the Burnley game so I decided against it, might try for the december one.

Shit at football?

My thoughts exactly. Why do you want to dress like a **** and be a little Hitler for two hours on a Sunday and be hated by everyone on a pitch?

I bet every ref thinks "I'll be different, the players will like and respect me" but people will hate you whatever.

Good luck with the course though.
