Can't find the old thread but please merge if I've missed it.

Michael Oliver having another dreadful game to match the one he had in our game against Spurs and the one against Brighton in the final game of last season. Why do PGMOL always wheel him out for our tricky games? You'd almost think, with his standard of refereeing in City matches and some of the pens he gave to Salah last season, he might have an ulterior motive.

Oliver and Friend are the two worst refs for City

He should have sent Schneiderlin off and the Rodri booking was very harsh.

Oliver is not a bad ref - he’s bent.

Did an ok job today. Got the Rodri booking wrong but never adversely impacted the game by being either too fussy or making a nonsensical decision.

I can cope with an even ref I didn't see one today

There was an Everton challenge in the first half on the dugout side, which Oliver waved play on for but never came back and booked. Play did admittedly go on for some time, but it was a challenge aimed at halting a break and deserved a caution.

Apart from every soft free kick he could. And if they’d scored then it would have affected the game.

He was subtle. Everton created next to nothing - the string of soft free kicks were the only way Everton put us under pressure.
