Hi blues, got my first game refereeing later on, a bit nervous just dont want to give them (players & managers)anything to work with because i know as a player if i saw the refs was even slightly unsure on something id be right onto him without delibratly doing it. just instinct. anyone got any tips from seing a good refs performance at grass roots or anyone here a ref themselves?

I'm a ref, started 13 months ago, all i can say is make sure you're confident and authoratitive from the start, dont take any shit and try and talk to the players during the game (tho i found with myself that came with experience) what age are you reffing??
