Referees’ Performances 2018/19

Only issue with VAR was the time it took, although I'd like the replay on the big screen for us all to see when it goes to referee review.
Decision were all correct, so it's a good thing.

but noticed on Tuesday there where no goal line officials,
is this because of Var

They were probably on the late afternoon trafford stadium tour and decided to fuck our match off!

This is correct although why did the taking of the penalty take so long, was that being checked initially to see if a clear and obvious error had been made in awarding the penalty? If that was the case then obviously it wasn't referred as then the ref would have taken a look at the monitor

The delay with the penalty was because the ref couldn't find fault with it so referred it to VAR, they also struggled to find a reason why they could disallow it but the rules state that if this happens they have to telephone a certain D. Gill. Unfortunately he was sobbing into his hanky at this point so it took awhile.
