Referees’ Performances 2018/19

The issue for me was not Walker which I thought was dealt with fairly but the Brighton tactic of backing in to our defenders under long balls. I couldn't tell if they were fouls or not at the game but I thought Brighton had a deliberate tactic of trying to win set-pieces in our half and they resorted to every tactic to get them. Not easy to spot for the ref but I think after a while he should have been on the look out for it.

Could not believe it at the end where we had a throw in half way in our half and he instead gave them a free kick for offside so giving them a chance to launch it long into our area never seen a decision like that before. As others have said, 2nd half by him was corrupt
This,my son turned to me and said what the fucks going on here,it’s just so blatant was talking to two rag supporters last night and they are convinced that the game is fiddled to fuck, especially the champions league.,it’s like the wrestling the result is already known before the tie..

Not easy?

There are 4 officials + VAR.

Those dives were seen by everyone but the officials. The sooner the game brings in retrospective bans for blatant cheating, the better.

He should've spotted Stevens backing into Eddie, when Laporte hooked it clear.
Was a clear foul and are given 99.9 times out of 100. But not yesterday, funny enough.

I think there were about 6 given in the 2nd half between 10-15 yards outside our 18 yd line. Perfect for them to cross into the box. Dickface Taylor fell for it every time.

The might find that the retrospective bans have sidelined half of the refs. Taylor was at his most blatantly 'questionable' in the second half yesterday. I can't believe that anyone who watches the game week in and week out couldn't see the variation in the application of the LotG between the two sides.

We keep saying this,it’s so obvious and it happens in the majority of games we play, good old game management from the officials..
