Referees’ Performances 2018/19

Scudamore said at the start of the season that he did not want a one horse race as it was bad for business. Referees are paid by the FA and to a certain extent carry out their wishes. No money changes hands or any bias. The problem for the FA is that we are just too good. So therefore other teams are given a little helping hand, free kicks near the area, penalties, non given to us and so on. You see it every game. It is to keep the product viable. It has taken a huge helping hand to keep the dippers in touch but they done it and the season goes to the last weekend.

They get the majority of their funding from the Premier League I believe which makes Scudamore's comments even more prejudicial.

Did anyone else notice that when he gave u a free kick when pacing out the ten yards he only took 8 short steps, yet when they got a free kick he reverted to the full ten extended steps?

Also did anyone notice when Ieanacho missed that chance near the end, the camera panned towards Guardiola, but caught the fourth official in shot, with a grimace on his face because the chance was missed?

He should have awarded the pen for Chilwells barge on Raheem. Vinny got the ball first so that shouldn't be a caution. He was pointedly looking at his watch when Aguero walked off but there is nothing in the rules that say you have to run off when subbed. In the first 20 minutes he seemed to give Leicester everything. When Schmiecal was time wasting in the first half he did nothing. Aside from that you could say he was fair.

He Did. He had a word with him, that took up more time. This was obviously not added on, at the end of the 1st half, though ;-)

Yep I noticed the grimace on MOTD last night. Looking like he’d just lost a bet.

Tbh I don't think he was that bad.

Although having got home and then seen him give the free kick, spray the white line, then blow the whistle, fuckin weird.

You tried your best you cnuts.

Whether it was awarding Liverpool penalties for blatant diving, allowing clear offside goals or denying us clear cut penalties and judging every slight nudge as a foul one way and ridiculous tackles not given the other way you can all go fuck yourself you corrupt set of twats.

Champions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thought he was decent today, bar that Kompany tackle at end of 1st half which looked good.
