Er, no it didn't.If Mason cant keep up then what is his linesman watching who is yards away and parallel with the tackle?
His eyesight seemed fine enough to rule out Bernado's goal.

Mason hates City and by his inaction at the continuing bad challenges effectively encouraged itThat tackle would never have happened had Mason signalled intent early doors as the ref in the rags game did on Friday. 20 seconds your in the book son i will not put up with that.
There lies the issue, the blind suggest 'evens up over the season' but the odd one that goes our way isn't a game changer.
The ridiculous thing is that it’s not difficult for the ref to issue a red, worst he will get is people saying “it’s a harsh red” on some occasions but surely they need to start favouring us rather than the opposition, it’s just not right.I think the marginal offsides etc probably do even themselves out over the course of the season. The far bigger concern is the amount of reckless, dangerous challenges on our players that aren’t being punished correctly. I can think of at least six this season and not a single red card has been issued.

Good post. Sums it up really.
Just looked on a few Cardiff forums and they are also disgusted at the challenge yesterday. Shame officials and pundits can’t see it

The ref's report will state the reason for the booking for the foul on Leroy, if this doesn't mention the high contact on his leg then why can't the FA charge the thug for endangering an opponent's safety with excessive force? If fairness to Mason he can't be expected to keep-up with play, when Leroy is running at full pace, so surely this would be anything against him. I think the same could be applied for all the challenges above. Pep is spot-on, there must be a change to protect the players the yellow card for a bad tackle is the same punishment for a minor infringement. Cardiff should have at least 5 yellow and one red but, because of the perception that poor old Cardiff were playing one of the best teams in Europe then they should be allowed extra leeway.

Exactly I might be wrong but Im sure we have had issues with this linesman before, the 4 yards offside goal v Spurs at WHLThe referees assistant could see that Leroy was standing in front of the keeper from side on but couldn’t see a a very obvious high and dangerous foul ! Couldn’t or didn’t want to?
Didn't happen with the challenge on kev at palace and people thought that was horrendous, I'm doubtful there's anything we can do to stop itHopefully the amount of press attention the challenge on Sane is getting will see us get greater protection for the rest of the season. I’m not holding my breath though.
Er, no it didn't.
Did Leicester in the LC....iffy pen, kicked shit out of us, 8 yes 8 mins injury time....Just a question. What other city games has mason ref fed this season.
In those if any what other POOR decisions has he made or missed

Wasn't that Madley.
Think Mason has only reffed Watford at home 3-1
Fairy snuffSarcasm mate ;-)
That's right. Mason's only done 11 PL matches this season.
