You really don’t believe that, do you?They needed to keep it a television spectacle otherwise the BBC would be upset. Who wants the underdog to be 2 nil down so early on ? and worse, who wants them to be 3-0 down with only 10 men on the pitch. It is called game management, the BBC have to think about the viewers and Mr Mason realised that. I think he should be applauded. It is like Strictly Come Dancing, you dont vote off the viewers favourite albeit shit dancer in the first week, this is the same thing.
