Reggae Muffin/Barm

Been really into Reggae recently but don't have a clue about the music apart from the stuff I heard growing up in the 80's such as the obvious (Sir Bob) and the pop stuff such as UB40.
A few of Stings stuff sounds decent as well.

So can you recommend any decent Reggae albums please?
Maybe artists that have released material recently as well?
Mmm...ub40 and sting?
My clarkie senses are tingling.

This bugger selling tickets for reggae now?

My mates son has a reggae band and they are awesome, don't know how to post links but google or facebook search "Ruff Trade'.
They are only young but grew up on reggae.
They have loads of fans in the reggae scene and regularly have established artists guesting with them. Based in Gorton and rehearse in the Cotton and often gig there

German Techno duo make a 'dub' reggae classic....

... obviously it's not UB40 or Sting, but in the right surroundings it might just hit the spot

Hail HIM by Burning Spear is the favourite reggae album in a fairly large collection.

Start with the melodic stuff and graduate to the floorshakin' dub sides.

If you're man enough ;)
