Relegation places at Christmas

Does anyone know the stats/info for who has been in the bottom 3 at Christmas & who has then
been eventually relegated in May.
I think it's usually the bottom team at Xmas who are so in the mire that no team has fought their
way out of relegation.This year it's very tight for 8/9 teams in the bottom half & any of them could go down.
Any facts for Premier era only please,not pre 1992.

The teams at the bottom at Christmas got relegated in May because they continued to play crap or were crap and no input would have saved them. I think that MCFC's position is slightly different to the Derby's and Bradfords of this world. Money and Mark the Messiah will be a determining factor.

This season has been a strange one.

Normally there is quite a gulf between the relegation zone and mid table come christmas.

One win with other results could take us to 1th and one loss with other results could take us down further.
