Religion

You know what, I am more a believer than most on here.

But I have always wanted to direct a film where
'And they'll know we are Christians by our love, by our love
Yeah they'll know we are Christians by our love'

is played as heretics are burnt at the stake.

The chief problem with religion is that it invites hypocrisy. A good example are the many American sects that pick the bits out of the Bible that they like but ignore the kind and generous bits. Those people would hate Jesus if they actually met him. They would call him a leftie commie liberal.

Many religious people bring religion into disrepute. They always have.

All religions have been shaped by people to fit what they want, which is usually power. CofE decided Rome was greedy and so broke away. The Archbishop of Canterbury and the rest now live in big posh houses whilst his followers struggle to pay the bills.
Me? I'm still waiting to inherit the earth

You’re not meek enough.

I thought it was all so they could wear frocks and daft clothes.
