He was a great player. However, the human memory has a tendency to only remember the good times of people we like, and the bad of those we don't.
I would hazard a guess that if you were to trawl back through this site, you would see plenty of negatively towards Edin, especially during the period where he obviously lost the desire to play for the club due to constantly playing second fiddle to Sergio.
I like to just remember the good memories and leave them in the past. The club, like all of us in our own lives, make decisions, some good, some bad, hopefully learning from them, looking back fondly but focusing on what can be done better in the future.
Edin is a legend of this club, but his time had come, irrespective of what he went onto achieve after us.
