Unbelievable atmosphere that day. Absolute bedlam after the Anelka goal and Neville took so much stick after his mistake. Right in front of me in the Platt Lane

Was in the north stand right next to the away fans, I remember the Anelka goal and being frozen to the spot when it went in wit emotion and shock, I couldn't cheer or anything as nothing was coming out.
Great game , great result and we followed it up with a 1-0 home defeat to Charlton.
That's the city I love ha ha.

Wiekens and Foe were sensational that day.
