Rene Meulensteen has a go at City again

How strange that he should give an interview about City - they're even obsessed at the very top now - we must be doing something right!
What an ill informed, blinkered dickhead. Who is he, by the way?

So this season so far we have had....:-

Wooney,Meulensteen,Wio,Schmeichel,Pallister,Bruce.......................

Need I go on....MMMM ... the common denominator is....

Fuck what these cunts have to say.

At least our owners aren't bleeding us dry...

Our league title really has hurt them...If we retain it,for me,that would be even sweeter.

It is so telling that you virtually never get any officials or players from our club talking about united in a negative way.

Again and again we hear of the likes of Meulensteen, Smalling, Rooney, Gill, Scholes and of course Ferguson make disparaging, disrespectful and wholly incorrect digs at our club.

Does it bother me? I guess it must to some extent, but not for the comments themselves, as it shows that they're worried, but because if the boot was on the other foot and it was the likes of Khaldoon or Vinny or Mancini making these types of comments, the press would be all over it saying that City lack 'class' and 'they don't know how to handle themselves'.

It is the way they can act with apparent impunity which really fucks me off.

T'was ever thus,my friend.
By dint of a fifty year old tragedy,a different set of parameters apply.
The trick is learning not to care.
I know you are far too clever not to accomplish this.

Imagine him saying "I've been to Africa. The mentality of the blacks is to spend spend spend..."

Fucking racist prick. Why are the media so tolerant of this kind of racism?

Or "I've been to the USA. The mentality of the Americans is to spend spend spend..."

Doesn't sound so racist now does it,that is because it isn't.

The rest of what he said is as hypocritical as it comes but based on what he said a racist he isn't.
Whatever it is, it clearly isn't very pleasant. He's making some very ill-informed, stereo-typical, prejudiced, narrow-minded, bullshit observations there.

So he knows our owners, does he? I very much doubt it. Sounds like he actually means he once met a rich Arab and is now ascribing that man's mentality to 300+ million people.

I suppose this dimwit believes the mentality of Arabs in Palestine and Djibouti is also to just keep on spending, spending, spending until they've got it right. The difference in mentality between Arabs in the same country (e.g., Dubai vs Abu Dhabi vs Ajman) is quite stark, so I'd love to know the basis for this Middle East expert's sweeping generalisations.

"I know Manchester United's owners. I've been in Tel Aviv myself so I know a little bit about the mentality of the Jews and they're really stingey people." There'd quite rightly be uproar if David Platt said something like that, yet that is essentially the sort of bigoted statement he is making in an attempt to gain favour with the sad twats that follow his football club.

United should be distancing themselves from this sort of offensive nonsense and publicly admonishing the idiot (or sacking him), but then they'd have to show a bit of class to go down that particular road.

Seems to be basing it on Dubai who were actually bailed out by none other than...Abu Dhabi.

Wait a second, if hes talking about places in middle east where they keep spending till they get it right, whats the problem in the comparison to us? Dubai was a desert where people lived in tents, of course they had to spend loads to start from scratch. Although we didnt quite start from a desert, city were never setup to be a top 4 club so of course they had to spend. His criticism is strange and i for one willingly lap it up as fear and a tad bit of jealousy.
