Just a thought really and I know that this has already been discussed.
I just think that my reasoning may be different from anything previously posted. If I am wrong have failed in epic proportions fair enough, bring on the banter.
Here goes.
Dickovs goal celebration is probably the most iconic image in Citys modern history. Only surpassed in my time by the image of Tony Book lifting the FA Cup.
We should produce a large plinth and bronze statue, probably on a par with the Commonwealth games statue, as a reminder of where we were in 1999. We will need to keep our feet on the ground and remember where we came from (I know, it's gonna be hard) because I do not want us to be as arrogant as the rags!
On the plinth should be the names of all players who have represented the club over 250 times ( plucked out of the air!).
Any thoughts or abuse would be welcome!
