Report: our players in their International duties

Great post! hope Yaya's injury isn't too bad and i'd like to have seen Savic' goals and defo Silva's performance.
Another thread suggests the injury may be significant. He needs recuperation. Nice to see Savic scoring twice but isn't he supposed to be a central defender? How come lowly Albania scored three times against him?

It would by my guess that he went up for corners and got on the end of two of them, however blaming a defeat on one person in football is not very fair, even if getting a 2min red card or missing 3 penalties were the case. Not really his fault if his partner and fbs are shite.

wheres the thread that suggest it could be a significant injury? There is absolutely no reports of how bad it is yet so wheres the thread getting its info from and really you're blaming 1 central defender for a team scoring 3, ok so every time a team doesnt score thats obviously the centre forwards fault its a TEAM game.

Well i'd imagine once he gets back to Carrington (which may or may not have been today and will probably be 2moro) and the medical team assess the state of all returning internationals, then make a diagnosis on any knocks, then we'll get a clue. As of now it seems that there is nothing so like you and all the others, nobody knows.

that was aimed at lioneart not you it was to make the point at the moment nobody else knows so theres nothing to suggest whether its significant or an impact injury, when he went off in the states everyone thought it was significant and it wasnt as bad as feared.
