Retail Death Pool

Argos? I'd have thought they'd be doing ok. Always seem to be busy etc.

Not sure what I'd go for!!!

Marks and Spencers, I had a customer in yapping that she knew best as she worked for M&S in the office. Love to see that stuck up bitch signing on

The newly joined Somerfield/Co-op and Do It All I reckon, and take your pick of the coffee houses.

I blame retail shops like Tescos and Morrisons for the decline of high-street shops. Building ever more supermarkets in small-town areas where buisnesses are effectively priced out of buisness. I foresee Co-op going bust pretty soon myself.

I'd like to see no more IKEA or

Trafford centre or

convert all the empty woolies/retail outlets into venues/snooker halls/dance halls/galleries/art/craft centres/libraries/gyms/one screen cinemas
instantly abolish consumerism

I think the co-op will be ok. It's Tescos that worry me i wouldn't be surprised if they started tesco value funerals complete with cardboard coffins in the blue and white striped logo with "Value" written on the lid.

it wont be argos, argos are only struggling atm because of the credit crunch like everyone else but according to my manager there doing good. my money is on wilko's.
