It is on Sackville St. on the opposite side of Whitworth Street to the gay village. It is part of the old UMIST multi storey car park and next to the railway viaduct and opposite the gatehouse for the university campus. It is owned by a gay couple; I wouldn't describe it as a 'gay bar' as such though. The upstairs is more like a normal pub and they have a club downstairs. I used to work at UMIST so we often went in there for a liquid lunch or the starting point for a night out. I've heard some of the live acts in the basement club are very good, but check who is on first as sometimes the acts may be a little more suited to people who enjoy the gay scene.
