The German transfer window is shut for buying, I still think its open for selling to a British club.

No that is wrong. They can still sell they just can't buy. Heitinga to Everton is an example (although it isn't yet a done deal)

If that is the case why are so many transfers including european and british teams going through today? Several portugese clubs have been busy already
