Can anyone list a better pair of full/wing backs than our two? It's a joy to watch Micah and Gael on their day, and I personally think a lot of our success so far this season is due to their form and performances. Call it strange, but I for one at the moment, look forward to our matches just to see how exciting these two can be, especially Micah!! Silva..Aguero..Yaya...Mario.............Micah and Gael!! Top talents, top nurturing with Micah and a top buy with Gael. Bargain, quality, top purchase Clichy.

Didn't mention Kola and Zaba either!!! What a squad, wow.

Definitely give us more of an attacking threat than we had last season,don't mind our back up full backs either.Wasn't impressed with Kolorov for a long time,but he has won me over recently.Played very well on Saturday.

Yea he did and I wouldnt mind seeing a combination of Micah and Kola some more either. Can anyone remember if we have done that so far this season, as I know Bobby goes for a Micah/Gael and a Zaba/Kola combination mainly. What a threat going forward Micah and Kola would give us. The reason I like Clichy so much more than Kola is that he can defend far far better. Clichy has completely shut down our right flank for opposing right wingers when he plays, simple.

The game has truly evolved now to the point where THERE ARE NO LB AND RB positions anymore. You are a 'wingback' or nowt now.

Johnson and Enrique.
Assou Ekotto and Walker
Evra and Jones/Smalling/Any other Rag
Bosingwa and Cole

Micah and Kola!
 
Left back in particular has always been a bit of a problem position for us.
Now we have the best set of full backs since I started watching City in the late 70s.

I thought Jordan was pretty decent on his day ( I remember him piss poor too), but my how he fell off the face of the earth. We now have pure quality at Lb and at every position. A truly world class squad.
 
I don't look at it as a pair of fullbacks, more a foursome, the way we play now the fullbacks do more work than any other players, so change more or less every game, i don't worry about who plays fullback these days cos they're all great, not allways been like that!lol
