Richards future England Captain?

Firstly, this whole exhaltation of the England captaincy is a load of giddy bollox.

Secondly, as stated by others, Micah has definitely improved under Mancini. That said, whilst he's eye-catching bombing forward, he doesn't always seem so enthusiastic to track back if the attack breaks down. Also his concentration levels - especially when playing against the tip-top teams - can appear wanting when the ball goes dead. (More important than I can state, this. I think it was Busby who said that "when the ball goes dead good players come alive").
Still, he's young and he has time to improve. Crucially, there's nothing wrong with his game that can't be worked on, too. The biggest credit to him is that he appears to have adjusted his attitude. Maturity suits him, so to speak.
Twelve months ago, I'd given up on this lad. I was wrong.
He doesn't quite deserve a call-up right now but I hope he eventually does get to a level where he's a shoo-in for the England team. Unlike the Sun reaaders amongst us, I won't be wetting my knickers if he's ever made (gasp!) captain, though.
