Not sure if the TV will take that goal off him, but if it had not been for a linesman he would have had 2 to his name already.

Scored with a great header today, and made some key surges down the right which were very important to the outcome of the game

All he needed was a run of games and the confidence is returning. with the way Johnson is playing he can recover his England spot.

If he can recapture his form then with Given in goal, Richards at right back, Bridge at left back, and Toure and lescott we have a very very good defence

Then they are covered by the best english defensive midfielder in barry, and the best Dutch defensive midfielder in De Jong, and the best defensive Belgian in Vincent Kompany and the idiot pundits said City could attack, but they couldn't and wouldn't defend.

Lawrensen you are going to have to start changing your tune. The effort and organisation was outstanding today, and a big pat on the back to the manager and coaching staff who set up City exactly right.

Unfortunately, I can't see Micah being given that goal. The ball hit the post and was coming back out into play when it hit Almunia on the back of the head before going in. O.G. for me. He did do brilliantly for the set up of Bellamy's goal though!!

He had a good game, he just needs to learn how to pass, that's always been his downfall, today he gave toure about 5 dodgy passes which put him under pressure with him being last man back, i hate see him taking on their strikers when he's got no cover, infact i cringe! lol

He's relying on his pace and build at the moment. Hes an absolute tank and barges through, which is great as he set up a goal, but needs to learn to pass and cross THEN he will be the best right back in the worlldddd muhahamuhaha

Richards was man of the match for me, for his goal, the assist and his superb hard work.

Best header I've seen since Dave Watson's v Ipswich in '77.

Richards has been piss poor for over a year, but today he started to realise his true potential. More of it I say.

As far as I am concerned that is two goals he has this season.

He scored the first goal and made the second.

And still he was being slagged off by people around me - why????????????

I think he'll get better and better.

Man of the match today for me, great game, lets hope he keeps it up.

For me too, I was wondering when a thread would appear praising him as some have been all too ready to start one knocking him recently.

Had a top game today, as did most of the lads. Hopefully we can all kick on, and start opening teams up. The scary thing is, we still have room for improvement and haven't reached our potential yet.
