Putting this in here as I cant start a new thread.

Just watched Sporting Heroes - Ricky Hatton in conversation with Mike Summerbee. Available on Sky on Demand till 15th July.

Really interesting 45 mins about all things blue.

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but couldnt see any mention and thought it would be of interest.

who is who's hero ? why would Summerbee be Hattons hero ? he would have never seen him play would he ?
watched one with Harmison with Keegan as his hero and thought the same

Maybe he respects the way he removed his England caps and was never seen at Maine Road for years when we were shit but is never away from the place now there's a drink in it for him?

Yeah, him always being around the club that now actively employs him compared to a club that didn't actively employ him is a real twattish move.

It's not the fact he wasn't employed by the club. Him and others from his era were always available for a quote, to help stick the boot in when laughing at City was the staple diet of every newspaper. Now, all the die hards are queuing up to join The Ambassador gravy train.
