been watchin the build up all week on sky and cant wait for the fight hoping he knocks this loud mouth flash yank out,who is now predicting he will knock Ricky out in the 3rd round,he as no hope only ever knocked 4 people out in his career. My opinion is Ricky will win it in the 5th what does everyone else think.
Good luck Ricky

He SHOULD win.

However, I've looked at a few of the 'expert' columns and a few respectable one's. Only a few mind, think it's not impossible for Paulie to pull of a shock.
Not because Paulie is the best out there, but due to his style(orthodox/ability to switch hit) and boxing brain.
I've got a feeling the Hatton cuts havent surfaced due to the opposition he's faced. This may be Paulies best chance of winning.
Hatton is likely to win in twelve, but Paulie may cause some facial damage before then. Hattons chin is okay, but his head isnt too great when peppered with shots, he almost clouds over.

Pains me to say it, but I think Rickys on a downward spiral and may not be victorious. Hopefully he'll out on an exciting show as always.

Should be a goodun.

It is a hard one to predict for me. Since Hattons fight with Mayweather he hasn't been the same that fight took a lot out of Hatton and in the last fight he didn't do a lot to show he could get back to the form of old. Maybe it was the pressure of fighting in Manchester and fighting away from Manchester may well take that pressure off him and he could roll back the years.

As for Paulie he did himself no favours in his fight in Manchester and put on a shocking display it was the worst fight I have seen him fighting in. Paulie will want to show what he is all about I wouldn't be shocked if Paulie wins this fight. He has great handspeed and combinations that will cause Hatton problems during the fight.

I think this will be a classic fight and its the case of the big puncher Hatton against the boxer Paulie. It will go all the way and there could be a round between the 2 at the end with Paulie just edging it.

Just to get us all in the mood for Saturday...

Come on Ricky!

Come on City!

The only thing that's certain is the this American bloke (I can't be bothered to try and find the right spelling for his surname!) will NOT knock Hatton out. He's only ever knocked out 5 or 6 fighters, and 3 of those were his first 3 fights, against no-marks. He hits slightly softer than Stephen Hawkings. He'll onyl win if his speed/workrate are good enough, American judges tend to go for the 'busier' fighter on scorecards. It'll go to points, after the battering he took from Cotto and he lasted the distance I can't see Hatton knocking him out.
