Bernard aged 81 ( my Brother in Law ) passed away peacefully on Sunday 26th August in Dumfries & Galloway where he had made his home since retirement.
Born in Wythenshawe in 1938, Bernard was a Staunch Blue all his life & achieved the status of First Class Referee after his playing days were over.
He set up the Stockport Haulage Company of Horton & Rogers before moving to Scotland where he became a regular Visitor to Queen of the South’s, Palmerston Park.
Will miss the City Chats Bernie.
Rest in Peace my Friend.
