Was only the other day it was Danny Fulbrook.

Didnt even know he was ill. Not watched the Sunday Supplement since the 1st one of the new season where they said one of the other guys was just sitting in for him, have they mentioned him on there since?

They said at the start of the season when he was missing that he was ill but hoped to be back. Presumably they knew at that stage he wouldn't be, but he and his family wanted privacy.

I thought he came across as a nice man. I think he was also the best paid sports journalist in the country for a while, which wouldn't have been the case if he weren't good at his job as well. I'm sorry to learn of his death.

Met him briefly about 10 years ago, at an Ireland V England rugby match. He came across as a very decent guy.
