RIP former City player, coach and manager Johnny Hart

He was suffering from dementia. Aged 90 he'd been in a nursing home in Cheshire for a while but had been well enough to go out for lunch recently and enjoy a pint. Died two years to the day he lost his wife.

In charge for a short period when I was young and had health issues then which meant we never got to see if he would have been a good appointment.

RIP to his family.

He was manager when Swales became chairman iirc. He had to step down for health reasons and Swales appointed Ron Saunders, who was his first managerial sacking less than 6 months later.

A truly nice chap .RIP a great City servant - played with his son Paul for Manchester boys and then Stockport .

A Blue through and through. Very unlucky as a player with injuries - which, amongst other things, deprived him of two Cup Final appearances - and a reluctant, short-term manager forced by illness to step down. RIP, Johnny.
