Has anyone else been getting these? Just cancelled my Microsoft subscription after they wanted to increase the price by a whopping 63%. That's just a year after they increased it by 20%. Adobe the same, tried to increase their prices by nearly 60% in a year. And as far as I can tell, this is all to pay for some bullshit AI features that no-one asked for that performs worse than what was there previously (spell check on Word is a shambles these days compared to when it was just checking an inbuilt dictionary).

If anyone has got these things on auto-renewal, check the renewal date, because you might be in for a fun surprise.

I have a lifetime licence for MS Office. The version I use has everything I need, so no need ever to upgrade.

I forgot to cancel Nord when I switched recently, but have cancelled now.

Adobe Acrobat is an absolute rip off. I can't imagine anyone ever getting that for domestic use.

I use open office but I am fortunate enough not to be trapped into having to use it for certain features, is there anything office does that open office doesn't?

Not sure. I used Excel extensively before I retired, and I still use some of its complex functions, including plenty of VBA. Hence I'm tied to it.
