What a life he has had always had a cameo role in his work.

This is a man who lived the Dream.

Created fantasies for children and teenagers, built an Imagination factory, made careers and almost lost it all(I remember that period).

Cinema finally caught up to what was in his head and saved his legacy.

I'm SOOO glad he lived to see that day.

Thank you so much for my awesome childhood, Mr Lee.

And may you rest in glorious peace. x

Sad news his wife/partner died not long ago as well, 95 is s great innings and not many more people will have had their work enjoyed by millions the world over. I’m sure we’ll will see his last cameos in Capt Marvel and Avengers 4 which seems fitting as that chapter comes to a close.

95 is a good innings. Only started drawing Superheros at the age of 40. Loads of firsts, including Black Panther, gave his fellow artists their dues, and a cameo in as much as he could.

Nicely done old man, nicely done.
