A friend of the family, and a friend of my father died in the early hours of the morning. He was a red but a good man, he leaves behind his beloved wife.
Dave was victim of a hit and run just before Christmas, the two men were caught at the airport trying to flee the country after leaving him for dead in the middle of the road. It was touch and go a few weeks back, but Dave pulled through, battled through pneumonia as well as having an emergency operation to remove his spleen. He was last seen sat up in bed watching skysport news (the only thing he ever did watch), joking with my Dad about how City have a lot of work still to do. My dad resisted to have a go back.
Rip Dave, you'll be sorely missed and I hope that ***** get what they deserve.
