today he sold his soul to Reform - Farage - ERG and every right wing grifter and for what? C4News did a poll through a polling firm after the announcement and 40% of people who were considering voting Tory said they now wouldn't........ the entire cabinet must not have an undamaged foot between them as they spend every day shooting themselves in the foot. Said it before and will say it again he has shite advisers and is too stupid to actually do politics

Liz Truss is still PM by proxy, it seems.

Must just be a communications issue just like with Truss. Can’t possibly be a combination of incompetence, arrogance, populist nonsense, weakness and poor judgment. Can it??

Even by the Tories' pitiful standards today was a new low. I'm amazed that their national policy has been dictated by the choices made by a relatively small number of crackpots in the Uxbridge by-election. Sunak is a dead man walking.
Yep. Seems to me that they have confused a backlash about the implementation of ULEZ at local levels with the nation’s views on climate change.

Anyone who thinks this statement about watering down low carbon initiatives is anything but electioneering is deluding themselves. Same with the anticipated cancellation of the second phase of HS2. All governments indulge in populist shite but the current government are taking it to another level in their desperation to secure a few votes by painting the opposition as idealistic lefties. They’ll be reopening mines in Yorkshire next.
Nah, not reopening mines in Yorkshire just new ones in Cumbria.
