Listening to a few on here, combined with what is being said about Sunak bringing them around, I’m a little worried that the country could be lulled into giving them another term.

Don't be worried. On the doorstep in one of the poshest parts of town at the weekend (going only to houses we've not been to before) we only found one really committed Tory. Nice house though (cost half a million 20 years ago, built on greenfield, sort of area where opposition to new housing would be less if it was more million pound houses, none of this "affordable" stuff).
