Rishi Sunak

Not sure if serious but we don't vote directly for Prime Ministers in UK elections.
Crock of shit.

On paper, we don't vote for the individual. In reality, people look at the individual fronting their party of choice and base their decision off that. Do you really think Labour had a chance in 2019 when Corbyn was leader? Take away Corbyn and his neo-socialism and the result in 2019 would have looked much different.

So yes, I was serious. We currently have a guy running the country that has zero credibility and competence, playing political games to sow division. His predecessor fucked us financially. Nobody wanted either of them; all reliable data and polling says as much. But we have to sit back and enjoy the ride. Our electoral system is badly in need of reform.

The Tories have nothing of substance left.

What they hope to do is gain votes by scaring people. Making out that a vote for Labour will bring about an Islamic state, or something along those lines. Fucking bollocks, but a lot of people in this country have demonstrated they will believe anything. Especially if it fits with their prejudices.
It was desperate. An insecure man dog-whistling to the only faction of the electorate he knows he has any chance with.

Those who didn't see it for that it was are brain-dead.

We'll agree to disagree. However I can't disagree with your criticisms of Sunak in your final paragraph. I also believe the electoral system is in need of reform.
I'd suggest that a general election must be called if the party of government changes its leader, but then you risk long -term lame-duck PMs or the threat of long-term under Johnson.
