Different player when he can create from inside. Not his best game today, but shares one trait with De Bruyne, and that is that he can be anonymous but then create some magic out of nothing. You can never count him out

Caused us a lot of problems today, giving the ball away too often - he's one of those who believes his own hype

Funny how people see things differently. I thought he was really good today. Was always a threat and his work rate was unbelievable. He has won me over this season, prefer him a bit more central. Nice assist too.

Interesting to see him playing inside and he creates goals for sure. But he must also be played wide as he is so dangerous cutting in on that brilliant left foot.

It's noticeable that he's having fewer anonymous outings and his work rate is improving. Much like with Sterling, if he can do nothing but contribute to goals then it's far better than contributing just nothing.+

when in more central positions he is at good at sliding a pass trhough as anyone - maybe 3-5-2 suits him better with the fullbacks providing the width more as he likes ot be more on the inside anyway?

Define liability as cannot see what you obviously saw

The modern day Navas at City. Creates multiple chances per game that go unnoticed because they wasn't taken.
