For some reason, I'd resigned myself to losing him when his contract ends. So happy he's being given a new one. He's fantastic and has all the attributes to mean he can go on for a few more years yet.
Wouldn't be surprised if he retires here personally (or does what Dave did and move to a club closer to home/his heart in the latter stages of his career) given he's mentioned wanting to never leave England.

This is great news, with 2x new forwards and loss of Stirling we need the continuity. Also his game is built on flair and skill which stay longer than say the attributes of a speed merchant or a target man
