I think it might be even better, as Robben had to get it through several players, whereas Zidane had no one in the way IIRC.

no way was it more difficult. Zidanes goal, the ball was comin straight down near enough. For robbens goal he had the slight advantage of the ball comin at him at a slight angle

nope, zidane's was far better, and it was harder than robbens too. robben's was fantastic, but Zidane's was perfect. If Robben's hadnt hit the ground and gone straight in then it might have been half as good as zidane's. Hope i made my feelings on the matter clear lol.

no, Zidane's goal was not 'far better.' It was a great goal but Robben's goal was the more difficult strike. Zidane was closer to goal, and square with no defender in his path to goal. the ball was also traveling straight up and down, easier to aim up and strike.

Robben's goal was hit on an angle with defenders in his path needing a perfect hit to the far post. It is also more difficult to hit the ball cleanly from that corner kick traveling towards him then the way Zidane's fell to him. This is not a commentary on who was the better player, but I'm not sure how anyone can say Zidane's goal was better, it was much less difficult a volley.
