Roberto De Zerbi

Should be in with a shout. Hopefully Brighton hold on to him and their talented players though they probably have like for like replacements to come through going by their recruitment
 
De Zerbi is a cross between Mancini & Pep & Brighton are still the best team (imho) to come to the Etihad this season
 
He's a great manager but he also inherited a great team from Graham Potter. I think Potter did a world class job there and deserves a lot more credit than Zerbi.

Its amazing how well run that club is, they've bought astoundingly well and sold for big profits. They've also brought in a manager who fitted in after Potter went to Chelsea.

Potter wasn't the problem at Chelsea, there's something else deeper and it will take a brave manager to want to go there and sort it out.
 
See what he can do in a couple of seasons before looking to Roberto di Zerbi as Pep Guardiola's replacement
 
Pep's going nowhere anytime soon (hopefully).

De Zerbi is an excellent manager though, I hope he has time to really build something at Brighton before someone snaps him up.

To be fair, it’s not like he doesn’t already have a back catalogue:

He won the Serie C league cup with Foggia.
Got Sassuolo to 8th in Serie A twice with the highest possession in the league (57.8% one year).
Won a trophy with Shakhtar and was only there for 30 games.
Got Brighton playing the second best football in the Prem.

You are right though, we do need to see a lot more but he’s already impressive.
